From the East
| My
Brother, We have run through another month without stopping to catch
our breath and it seems that this month is going to be as busy. We have plenty of
activities planned, so pick one and come out and enjoy yourself. I would like to take a moment to thank R.W.B. Jim Heller for all the visitations he has take the time to undergo, on his two trips to Florida. The members of the lodge appreciate R.W.B. Heller's efforts and dedication to his lodge. I would also like to mention our Sweetheart's Dinner and thank all who attended, we had three widows and nine non-masons in attendance that evening, with our total reaching 58 altogether. The meal was great and everyone enjoyed themselves. I would like to thank Bro. Glenn McLemore for helping me cook that evening, and also my mother Joyce McLemore for preparing the dessert, which you will find in this months recipe corner. The evening was topped off with a toast and a prayer, and again I would like to thank all who came out. I would also like to take a moment to congratulate Bro. Richard Robison on being raised to the Sublime Degree of M.M. You have been a true asset to our lodge. Keep up the good work, also while we're on the subject, don't forget the one day class, which is coming up on April 27th. So if you have a petition please get it to me as soon as possible. Also if you are interested in being a mentor at the class, please give me a call.
As a FINAL note this month, I would also like to inform you that our lodge inspection will be on February
28th. This will be RWB Frank
Sareskys last inspection as a Deputy. So come out and support your new
officers, as well as RWB Saresky on this important night. Til next time Always let the wind be at your back! Remember Brethren RUN FREE! RalphRalph E. McLemore Jr. Worshipful Master 2001 master@linwoodlodge.org Don't forget, this website was awarded 1st PLACE! as the |
