Brother, Busy must be Linwood Lodge's middle name! We have so many activities going on, that we can't catch our breath. We raised money for Special Olympics with a dinner on the 20th of April; we traveled to Ivanhoe Chapter of DeMolay for a visit; we had a financial advisor come for a visit on May 2nd; we also had fifteen candidates go through the one day class; which means that we will raise a total of eighteen members this year at Linwood Lodge. (Okay stop and take a breath). >>Whew!!<< I also want to take a moment to
congratulate Tracy Slone on the Don't forget my brother, that on May 9th, we will be holding a special Dinner & meeting for our fifteen new candidates to go over protocol, and welcome them and their families to Linwood Lodge. This dinner will be open to families. We will eat at 6:15 and while we are in the lodge there will be something for the non-masons, so come out and welcome our new members. Lets show them that Linwood hospitality & friendliness is 2nd to NONE! In closing, I want to mention that RWB Frank Saresky and I had the pleasure of presenting Bro. Carl Shook with his 60-year pin. My brother this turned out to be a wonderful afternoon! We must have spent an hour and a half talking to Bro. Shook about the Lodge, and going over old Lodge memorabilia. Believe me, we were overwhelmed with the knowledge we learned from him, and to top off the visit we presented him with his 60-year pin. When RWB Saresky and I left we realized this is one of the things that makes Masonry the greatest fraternity in the world. Congratulations again Brother Shook!! Til next time Always let the wind be at your back!Remember Brethren RUN FREE! RalphRalph E.
