From the East

Brother, Spring has come and gone and the heat of summer is upon us. Its time for The Lodge to go dark so that everyone can take a rest from the hard work we have done for the year, and enjoy a summer rest. I would like to remind everyone that I will be at The Lodge on Thursday's if anyone would like to come out and practice their degree work, or enjoy each some fellowship. Our annual summer picnic, which will be held with Gerard Lodge this year, is on July 27th. Our campout at The Loveland Castle will be held on August 10th. This will be a great opportunity for a great family get-together with your lodge mates. If you need any information, or directions, for either of these events. Please give me a call at 533-4532. Before I close, I want to mention how proud I am of the job everyone did on the FC Degree for Bro. Mulvaney, each of you can hold your heads up high for the goals you have set and accomplished this year. I would also like to thank the Brethren from Gerard and Oakley who came out that evening. We appreciate your support. A BIG, HELLO to Bro. Sam Rush, who was in town for a school reunion, and took some time away from his wife to visit the Lodge. I am glad you got to see us put on the FC Degree. It was a pleasure talking to you. I hope you will be able to come back again sometime. In closing, I want to mention that Linwood's sick & distressed train will be traveling this summer to visit those in need of a pick-me-up. So, get with me on departure times of visiting a Brother near you.
