| My Brother, The holidays are over and we should now get ready to begin our work. The District inspection season is upon us. If you would like to visit another lodge this would be a good time. Call the Secretary for the inspection schedule or check out our website, the First District section for the whole schedule. Speaking of the FMDOA... The new District rosters are in. Call me if you would like one. We had a special program on February 3rd. A presentation of the “Star & Garter” & "Golden Fleece". I hope that you made it out to this excellent program. It is put on by Wor. Bro. Ken Baril, who was just elected to membership in Linwood Lodge at out last stated meeting as a dual member. Our sweetheart’s dinner is approaching on February 12. Bring your wife or significant other and join us for what has been in the past, one of our more popular events. Now on a more serious note. My Brother I am very concerned about the future of Linwood Lodge. Wor. Bro. Phelps mentioned this in several of his messages with not much response. We are at a turning point, and I fear that if we do not get a little more participation from our members we are doomed to suffer the fate of fading from existance. Just a name from the past. A once great lodge fading into memory. WE DO NOT WANT THAT TO HAPPEN!!! COme out and visit YOUR Lodge before that time comes. Help us restore the shine! Only you can make this happen. Call me, let me know what can be done. What can we do for you to make lodge enjoyable. We need your help and participation.
