My name is Tracy Slone, the new 2006 Master for Linwood Lodge. I would like to thank everyone for their support all these years on my journey through the chairs and Thank you for the confidence that you have reposed in me by voting me in as Master.

     We have an exciting year planned full of excellent degree work (Inspection is Feb. 9th), fellowship, golfing, bowling, fishing, cards, fantasy football and reminiscing. I am sure we will have something for you! Please call or visit the lodge, I want to hear your story! I'm asking you to make it your goal to attend Lodge at least one time this year, and I don't think that is asking too much.

     To accomplish the goals I have set this year I will be needing your help!

     Communication is such an intricate part of any successful relationship or business, so I will be calling each of you to talk to you personally about the matters of our fraternity and to find out how your doing. Relief is a great tenet of Freemasonry and it has come to my attention that there may be widows of fallen Masons that need our help. I hear a lot of talk about the average age of the members in the fraternity and how we need new members to keep the fraternity alive. I believe we need to remember the tenets of our profession, use what we have (which is YOU), to the best of our abilities.

     Let it shine, and the rest will work itself out!

     What I see, are experienced gentlemen from all lines of work, who, are now retired and have some extra time on their hands to help these widows and other ailing Masons. (Remember: This is our duty as Masons) If you know of anyone who needs assistance or if any of you are willing to help, please contact me or any of the officers listed on the bulletin.

     I am looking forward to working with as many of you as possible. Together WE can make this a truly GREAT year for Linwood Lodge!
